There are currently two sybil demonstration websites. One utilizes an older codebase but is still functional and the other
represents the newest codebase (as of January 2008).
The first Sybil demonstration site is available at the JCVI:
The above demo site runs on the same sample database and Sybil interface code that is
available for download from this site. The sample database contains genome and
comparative data from the following three organisms:
- Plasmodium falciparum
- Plasmodium yoelii
- Cryptosporidium parvum
In addition, the following analyses have been run and preloaded into the database:
To download and install the same database and software used on the demonstration site, follow the installation instructions on the
Downloads page.

The above site runs on a data set containing 10
Streptococcus pneumoniae genomes:
- Streptococcus pneumoniae TIGR4
- Streptococcus pneumoniae D39
- Streptococcus pneumoniae 70585
- Streptococcus pneumoniae JJA
- Streptococcus pneumoniae R6
- Streptococcus pneumoniae G54
- Streptococcus pneumoniae Taiwan19F-14
- Streptococcus pneumoniae P1031
- Streptococcus pneumoniae Hungary19A-6
- Streptococcus pneumoniae 670
In addition, the following analyses have been run and preloaded into the database:
This data set and the associated code will be available for download shortly.
